International Women's Day 2022

WoMen Power

Since 1911, Women's Day represents the search for equality between women and men throughout the world. In 1919, women's suffrage was imposed in Germany. In 2022, the motto of the United Nations is "Break the Bias!", translated: "Stop the bias!" For a world free of stereotypes and discrimination. For more mutual support in all areas, beyond the borders created by oneself.

Social sector statistics:

As of 2021, around 53,708 male specialists worked in institutions for childhood education / Kindergarten in Germany. The proportion of men across the country has increased significantly in recent years. However, the number of professional women remains unbeatable. More than 654,000 women were counted in the sector of education / child care.

The proportion of women in geriatric care is also not less than 83 percent. In the field of healthcare / nursing, the share of women employed in 2020 was just as strong, at 80 percent.

So much left to do: gender equality has never been more relevant during times of pandemic.

We are proud of our team, of our Talents, of all the women in our collaborating institutions and grateful to all the men in our private and professional environment who support and encourage women: together we are better. This is why we strive for valuable teamwork and mutual empowerment today and tomorrow!
